This is the digital version of my Rose Referece book. It includes all the images in the book and many additional (well over 500 in total). The convenience of having the digital copy allows the artist to work with the roses directly in the software of their choice, in preparing tattoo designs, reference for paintings, or whatever your needs are.
I have tattooed for 30 years and I know what an artist is looking for in tattoo-able reference. About half of the images are red roses, from different angles and lighting schemes, as well as arrangements of roses together to lend themselves to a good variety of compositional possibilities. The second half of the images shift into other colors of rose; pink, orange, yellow, white, and more. Strong contrast and shadows, as well as different colored backdrops and lighting schemes make for a comprehensive reference collection.
To give some idea of the contents, this is a link to a flip through of the Rose Reference book.
To be clear, these are not the pages from the book, as are pictured in the flip through. They are just the pictures of the roses. I shot and edited all of these photos myself.
